Villa List by Dermot Hanwy on 24 Aug 2007, 21:29 The Villa List claims to be a 4 star hotel. We booked and paid a deposit for 2 rooms with sea views. On arrival we were told that our request for a sea view was a "wish" and not a "requirement" and we couldn't have them!! This is a common problem with the Villa List as we heard numerous guests complain about the same thing. The air conditioning didn't work properly, the bathrooms are tiny and in need of renovation. You must pay extra to use facilities such as internet, jacuzzi, steam rooms etc. They even charged us 2 lev (1 Euro) for a broken glass!! There is no pool bar which means a 2 storey climb to get a drink. This is a 4 star hotel with a 1 star mentality - Avoid it.
