Visitor Comments	AWFUL HOTEL! IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE STOLEN, DONT GO THERE! - by olga on 15 Sep, 2008 I dont recomend this hotel to no one, if you dont want to be stolen. Overall cleaners stolen our room 4 times (in only 5 days !!! ). In the beginning they stole 25 $ from cosmetic case, next day they scooped my wardrobe and stole apple ipod (mp3 player) which was put into the backpack internall pocket (but backpack was put into the wardrobe!), after 3 days cleaners surprised me again, this time- two times- in the morning, while we were on the breakfast, she took 50$ from the purse, which was put into the handbag, and later while we were on the dinner she had no shame to come again and to take mobile phone, which was on the table. Ofcourse, administration said that it is our falt, that we didnt put our goods into tha safe, but I must say that safe in rooms were not working, and is it normal to put mobile phone, which we are using all the time in the safe which is situated in administration, in entrance hall ???? And if I live in the 5th floor, each time when some one is calling me, the administrator will bring me my mobile phone?! Ofcourse not... When we said that we will turn to police office, they answered - cernainly, the police office is round the corner. Normal answer to customers.. The administration promised to rewiev camera records, and chechk magnetick keys, but ofcourse, they said that their records doesnt show anything and they cant help us. The next day, we had to return home, and we didnt get back our goods :( But cleaners are still continueing to stealing (because one of them, as I was said, works there already for four years). madara hotel-31.5.07-7.6.07 - by maureen and barrie on 12 Jun, 2007 Just returned from Madara, after fabulous holiday. Hotel absolutely spotless,rooms georgeous-very spacious.Lots of different foods although geared towards the germans, but plenty of choices,and always something there to please everybody. Loads and loads of cheap shops nearby, and georgeous beach nearby. Definetly one of my top ten holidays- went to sunny beach last year, and found more to do in golden sands, Irish pub in town great atmosphere, and kareoke! on the downside of the hotel, they need to get it through to the germans not to hog the sunbeds, the hotel next door does not allow it, this can be viewed by balcony, reception told us to remove the towels and dump them on the grass- we did, and so did the rest of the brits, they soon got the message not to reserve the beds, and not getting on them till late afternoon! also dont let them jump the queue at the toaster when you are trying to brown the toast, they just push in. The food is great if you like continental cuisine, as usual there were english woman moaning about having "No crispy bacon" if you want that stay in England - the choice for all meals was very varied and fresh and never a problem getting a table, free drinks Ice creams and pancakes available all day and when the restaurant was closed they offered pizzas, pastries and fruit in the bar Off site its hard to spend your money, Cigs 80p a packet, Lager £1.20 a pint and Vodka £4 a Litre, there are planty of shops bars and restaurants on the wlk to the beach,m 24 hour Beauru de Change in thereception area. All the staff are very thorough and cant do enough for you. The only possible downer was the German snaffling of the sunbeds on the first couple of days until the english played them at there own game and moved towels if people werent down after breakfast - they had all been told by reception but didnt seem to understand. Perhaps a criticism would be there is not enough seating space for the bar and area lacks atmosphere and lighting. Had great manicure! Very impressed with hotel - spotlessly clean, excellent accomodation and good food. We found the resort relaxed, friendly with great beach, bars etc. And soooo cheap! Will be returning next year! xx Madara , June-July 2006 - by Helge Syversen on 02 Jul, 2006 First we will confirm Emmas review from sept 2005.We had breakfast and lunch at the hotel and had our dinner at the many nice resturants situated along the seafront.The all inclusive took the stress away from our holiday , to have the freedom to chose from the many services the hotel offered we really appreciated. The staff was both professional and friendly.Recommend the massage and visit the hairdresser. The pool is guarded and never overcrowded, neither were the sunbeds. We will visit Madara next year. Finally: The beach is not suited for children who do not swim...use the nice pools. We recommend the beach in front of Hotel Admiral. madara was great - by emma evans on 20 Nov, 2005 i stayed at madara for 14 days from sep1-15 2005, i loved it, the kids club is not jusy for german children, the entertainers could speak fluent english,so karen meadows you may not of liked it but that is no reason to think everyone will be unsatisfied, im goin back again early next year, i would recommend this hotel to families with young children as the entertainment staff are great, so friendly and always wearing a smile. don't just go on what other people say, go and see for yourself you will then understand why i am going back! Madara Food Again - by Karen Meadows on 13 Sep, 2005 We spent a week here 12th - 19th August. The food was atrocious and all 5 of us had bad stomach cramps from day 2. My 8 year old son was still ill 5 days after returning home and I was ill for a further 10 days!! The staff were not at all friendly and there is no kids club for english speaking children.
