Magnolia Hotel & Spa by David on 12 Jul 2008, 03:04 Great little hotel as long as you are not too worried about being in a hotel with few other English guests. Most guests here are German and Russian.
Staff were helpful and the service in all areas was good.
The beach which is a small walk away (2 or 3 minutes) is pleasant was was not crowded, although I was there at the early part of the season. Bad point though is the number of cigarette butts in the sand!
Do not go here if you want constant supply of English palette food. The variety is not fantastic, but this is not a big hotel.
The room was good, and although we were there when temperatures were hitting 35 degrees C plus, the room stayed reasonably cool and the air-con unit was only occasionally required. The cleaning and so forth was not to be faulted.
This is right at the end of the resort and hence around the hotel it is quiet at night - go into the centre of the resort for a hotel with lots of surrounding nightlife.
The "animacion" team do very well, especially as there were at least 6 different languages being spoken as a 1st language by the guests here (German, Russian, Polish, Bulgarian, English and Czech).
I'd recommend it, with the above proviso's.
Remember it is quiet, it is not "Anglified" and it is not large.
