royalbay hotel by janet west on 10 Oct 2007, 19:11 if you want a relaxing holiday this is the place to go . we went with friends and all thought it was great. the hotel was clean as were the rooms. staff are friendly if you are .food and drink from morning to night if you want. no entertainment at hotel but plenty in village.small pier were a boat will take you to nezebar (a must see)from there you can take boats to other resorts. will be returning hopefully next year.

Royal Bay Hotel by Geoff on 02 Jul 2007, 16:13 Returned from Royal Bay about a week ago. Perfect setting right on the beach. The room was provided an excellent view of beach and surrounding area. Beach was excellent with good bathing. Staff were friendly and hard working . I think it is true to say that food lacked imagination in many cases but was certainly edible. You have to be willing to at least try some more local dishes. However there should be more variation on daily menu. Resort was very good and we certainly found the hotel extremely relaxing. You have to walk a short distance to the other part of the resort for more entertainment.

Royal Bay Hotel 18th - 25th June 2007 by Alison on 26 Jun 2007, 19:01 I have just today come back from the royal bay hotel in Elenite bulgaria and have to say it is the best hotel i have ever stayed, the cleaners are none sstop cleaning they are constantly sweeping and mopping. The food is ok it was to my taste but not others. I have to small children and i was worried that they would not eat the food by reading previous reports but that was far from the case. I went to the hotel in fear of what to expect becuase of what i read before going and it was far better than what i expected. With regards to the entertainment which many have complained about, not far from the hotel is the animation hall which is where all the entertainment happens first half is mainly for children and from 9.30pm there is a show every night which we found very enjoyable and my 4yr old son loved it all. so if you want to stay in the bar area great, but there is entertainment to be had if you want it and you dont have to put your hand in your pocket for any drinks either (bonus)! All in all great experience in Bulgaria and am booking for next year same hotel.

royal bay hotel by Tom on 03 Jun 2007, 16:48 have just returned from royal bay hotel. We found the staff friendly but english speaking was not their strong point.Hotel was clean and rooms were bright and cleaned every day.A little fridge was included in the room. The hotel is literally right on the beach.Sunbeds & parasols on beach were free although they are chargeable in water park.Food was not the best i have had but certainly not the worst. We never went hungry!.The downside i would say was the lack of entertainment at the R.B.There is alot of work going on in the resort so next year it may be better. In conclusion,If you just want to sit and unwind and do nothing and you can get it cheap go to royal bay.If you want designer shops and nightlife go somewhere else.
