i'm just arrived home, and i've never been so glad!!! the yavor palace was a big steaming pile of poo!!

Had a really good stay at this hotel for 2 weeks in May.The strategic position, the staff, the rooms, the restaurant were all the best.
Going again next June for 2 more weeks.

hust returned home from yavor 1 lovely hotel spotlessly clean room facs excellent pool rather shaded and on view to open road suggest trees ought to be pruned to give more access to sun food good well cooked but geared rather to continental customers not english. good resort many ex facs nice beach plenty umbrellas clean sea all in all good value would visit resort again

Hi there, I am going to stay in the Hotel Yavor Palace in September. The brochure says its in sunny beach but all the websites say its in Golden sands. Im confused, are there 2 hotels maybe? Also, what are the shops in bulgaria like? Are there alot of cheap (or fake!) designer clothes and handbags?!

Just come back from a two week stay at the Yavor Palace Hotel in Sunny Beach.
Had a great time, if you go please say hello to Peter at the pool bar from us, he’s a sweetie, he needs to pratice his English so it would be great if you could spend a bit of your time talking to him. Try and take small denominations in Levs as the staff are not given floats so don’t have change.
We had no problems with the food, they have had an English consultant chef out there to get tings right, we could always find something that took our fancy. The staff are very good, rooms clean, and the drinks at the hotel are cheep as long as you stick to the Bulgarian drinks, try the Bulgarian brandy better than any of the French cognacs.Love the Bulgarians love Bulgaria going back as soon as we can
