Visitor Comments	Great! - by Alina on 14 Jul, 2007 I'll go this year again Hotel Edelweiss - by Miss J Tregenza & Mr F Clough on 08 Sep, 2006 We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks from Aug 14th 2006 BRILLIANT! what a great time! we stayed on the 7th floor (and I dont like heights or lifts!)which I overcome,There are many steps down to the beach front,not really suitable for the older person,but taxi's are very reasonable,and the taxi guys outside the hotel are reliable too.The staff were polite and very friendly and most spoke good english,if they didnt they tryed to understand,I wouldnt say the food was appalling,but it was mostly labelled in german,I'm a fusy eater and I could eat well most days,as for the entertainment it was ok, from circus acts to bingo to billards contest(animation team were very trying) The poolside bar was great and so were the staff,especially happy hour 2 cocktails for the price of one! bargin!!(just watch the pool when staggering to hotel). The cleaners deserve a big praise they changed our towels and linen daily and were nice and jolly(they deserve a tip) Overall this hotel is very clean and I would certainly come back again! I would recommend this hotel Hotel Edelwiess - by Mrs J Marchi on 09 Aug, 2006 The hotel is lovley and clean but its location is not recommended for people with walking difficulties or small children due to the many many steps to the beach front. The food was appalling. For a 4 star hotel I expected higher standard of food and numerous complaints were placed by myself and other guests. The food was so appalling at times we were unsure exactly what it was supposed to be. We had to eat out eventually. The waiting staff could also do with a customer care course as we found them to be very brisk in their manner. The entertaiment is very poor and does not really cater for children hence you have to go out at night and tackle the many many stairs to beach front. I do not recommend this hotel. Hotel Edelweiss - by F Sheridan on 08 Jul, 2006 This is an excellent hotel, location is up lots of steps from main strip/beach but easily managed. Very clean, rooms cleaned daily, hotel spotless, very friendly bar staff at pool and in hotel, all spoke with great English. Try and get a room on 3rd floor or above for best views of sea and resort. Also bring a travel kettle with you as no tea/coffee facilities in room. Write a comment / review
