| 22 Feb, 2010 | neil (86.42.8.236) | Can you s tell me what kamchia is like, i am going over there at the end of may to bay building land. I have being told it is going to be the next big thing on bulgaira black sea ??? | |
| 04 Oct, 2009 | kamchia (81.108.62.172) | Oasis Owners | Are you one of the dissapointed owners of an apartment in Kamchia. It seems that the managment company are asking owners to pay for the finalization of the ACT 16 which is required for all of the apartments.
This would add up to quite a considerable sum of money which I would have thought would have been included in the purchase price. I would refer you to an information site FAIB.INFO where you can find out about Act 14, Act 15, and Act 16. Reading through this information you will see that habitation of the apartments is illegal without the relevent documentation with regard to inspections. |
| 09 Sep, 2009 | Marjorie (82.68.12.86) | Oasis Apartments | My sister and I along with 2 children aged twelve spent 2 weeks at my sons apartment. We had a wonderful time, relaxing when we wanted to and walked for miles when we wanted to.If you wanted to socialise the bar was open everynight. Not too far to walk to the village for the shops or a meal and everyone we met was very friendly.Going into Varna was no problem.Usually a taxi stopped and the price very reasonable. We were dissapointed when the holiday came to an end, but will certainly return there. |
| 04 Sep, 2009 | holly (82.17.183.180) | oasis | just returned from 2 weeks at the oasis. apartments where fine so where the 3 pools and the bar lots of people around having a good time . yes it in the middle of no where yes you have to walk 5 mins to the local village to mix with the friendly locals and buy produce off them from their gardens .go down to the camp site and mix with the bulgarians on the beach..We didn't have a car for a week so went out on the bikes down to the river and to hidden beaches.when we did have a car we went out to other local beaches with great surf and massive waterslides and less than 30 mins from the apartmtrnsI understand certain people are unhappy about their purchase . If you wanted english/irish bars doing egg and chips and kareoke you should have bought in sunny beach . If you don't like bulgarians and none english speaking people you should have bought in backpool sounds like that's more for you anyway!!!!!LOL |
| 14 Aug, 2009 | Bill Kennaugh (86.150.246.96) | Committee | Has anyone formed a committee to promote oasis apartments, would appreciate any comments on maintenance charges, and have any owners been out in 2009,would like contact from any owners my email is firstmodern@btconnect.com |
| 20 Jul, 2009 | jo gill (90.219.171.173) | oasis | well said dave i own one of these appartments and dont know anybody i dislike enough to send them there . or maybe i do what about you nick and gary fancy a free fortnight in my appartment !! oh sorry oasis is nothing to do with you anymore is it !! |
| 15 Jul, 2009 | Dave (86.12.129.227) | With respect Mick, the views are second to just about every where else I have ever been. The apartments are nice enough, but the area is just so desolate (the clue is in the name OASIS) with hardly a decent restaurant for many a mile.
Most of the people there agreed that the White House was the best restaurant within walking distance of Oasis, but that is because the food is edible, certainly not good. My other half ordered a pizza and was brought a Farmfood 6 for a pound frozen pizza that had been microwaved to oblivion. Who cares how cheap it is out there? You want something slightly better whilst on your hard earned jollies. The guy that rented the apartment to us, asked us upon our return for our honest opinion. I tried to be as diplomatic as poss and said that it wasn't really my cup of tea and probably wouldn't be paying a return visit. He said that that is exactly what the other 3 couples had also said and he said that he would take a loss on the apartment if he could find a buyer right now. Of course you owners want to talk the place up, that's perfectly natural, but potential holidaymakers also need to have a balanced view before committing their hard earned cash. And no, I was not expecting an established resort, I love the quieter Greek Islands and Crete etc The proof of the pudding is in the eating, you will struggle to let these off and repeat bookings will be a rarity. Best of British to the owners of Oasis apartments, but come on, play with a straight bat and don't talk them or the area up into being what they clearly are not | |
| 08 Jul, 2009 | Mick (213.121.200.9) | Oasis | Oasis is in a wonderfull location, the views are second to non, the city of Varna is within easy reach by bus, if you want to make the most of Oasis then a car is useful athough there a number of people in the village who provide transport and have a lot of local knowledge. the wildlife is worth seeing there are wild toutoise, wild boar, water buffalo, storks too many to mention. I suspect that people who have been and not liked it haven't done their research into the area so expected it to be a main tourist area and expected it to be like the man made tourist towns such as sunny beach which this area is ever going to be hopefully.
Any owners still using this site would be much better off using kamchiaoasis.co.uk |
| 27 Jun, 2009 | jo gill (90.194.55.41) | oasis | dave i have heard balken airways are supplying valium for anybody staying at the oasis ! get to your Gp asap x |
| 27 Jun, 2009 | jo gill (90.194.55.41) | oasis | dave you forgot to mention if you had a trip to the wonderful kamchia river ! or are you still to traumatized its like the set of hostel ! bulgarian developments have ripped all the owners off big time! and it looks like there going to get away with it well dave it could be worse you could own one. |
| 26 Jun, 2009 | Dave (86.12.129.227) | Oasis | I do not own an apartment at the Oasis Beech resort, but recently rented one for a week.
The apartment was lovely, but could the developers have chosen a more remote area? There are numerous reasons why this was my worst holiday ever, but I don't intend to get into a slanging match with the owners. However, if I was an owner, I sure as hell wouldn't be expecting too many repeat bookings |
| 26 May, 2009 | Kevan Dagg (212.183.134.208) | Sunny Beach, Bulgaria | Bought a Studio Apartment Aug 2008.Several faults, so far unfinished. Transfers to and from Airport missed twice, developer will not answer emails,Estate Agent hopeless. Best to avoid PremierBG and SHLtd.Disappointed... |

| 30 Jun, 2008 | sue () | oasis beaach | Hi
Just returned from a week at the oasis beach. The weather was fantastic and we couldn't believe how cheap it was. The apartments are really nice and the pools are all working. The gym equipment is there but not sure whether it's up and running yet. The lifts aren't working yet no. There is a cafe that does toasties & bacon butties. They do sell beer but they shut at 5pm so you need to stock up! At 54p for half a litre of Becks you can't go wrong!! There is little else there to be honest so you definately need a car. There are a few bars within 15 mins walk but the walk back in the pitch dark at night is quite scary. There is a lovely restaurant on the main road near the petrol station and the food is superb. Worth a visit to Varna though the beach there is gorgeous and it's only about a 20 min drive. We did have a lovely time but we had a hire car. A couple ended up getting an early flight back due to problems with the hire car so make sure you take your paper and picture form of your driving licence. Other than that the complex is really nice. If you suffer from hayfever Id take your tablets as me and my sister suffered quite bad at the complex with it being near the forest. |

| 28 Jun, 2008 | hi () | oasis | bg says they only do outside maintaince work , talking to BD , they have said BG are on site if we got probs in appartments as article five in contract says 4/5 star finish, when i was over other weel shaun and wife said its not there job, be interesting ti see if work is done when im back in few weeks time ,Ill let you all know i had list of 8 probs |

|
| 27 Jun, 2008 | Mark E () | Oasis | I agree that setting up a committee would be in the best interests of all of the owners as this would allow everybody an opportunity to put forward there positive ideas and thoughts. This was something that was discussed when I was out at the Oasis a week ago. I would also echo the comments from previous messages that it is important that everybody pays there maintenance fee as this is for the upkeep of our investment. It is madness not to pay and is in no way linked to the problems that we had with the supplier of the furniture who let everybody down. Let's all move forward because we are lucky to be involved in the first wave of investment in this supurb part of bulgaria. |
| 27 Jun, 2008 | Peace () | Bulgaria | I love Bulgaria, Kamchia, and The Oasis complex, please lets all enjoy our property. If we do not pull it together pay the maintenance we will have a empty building taken over by squatters. We can all see how one winter of neglect has taken months of hard work to get right, pools grounds etc. Its looking good after all the hard work from the maintenance team, we can all stay there now. I have a place in Spain and there we publish name and shame non payers ! why should we suffer for the few bad moaning apples. We can request copy of accounts for anybody that thinks this non payment is just a sham for not getting the work done.
What we need when all monies are paid up is a active voting committee, it works very well in Spain. |
| 26 Jun, 2008 | CLIFF () | OASIS RESORT | with regard the beautiful, classy oasis resort, would the owners who owe maintenance money to premier bg put their hands up and give reasons why so we can all see who you are. |
| 25 Jun, 2008 | rob block b () | oasis | We have just returned from Kamchia ,the complex is looking really good , there is an issue with the maintenance payments, I have paid mine and think it is being spent wisely. For those who think they will take our money maybe we should ask PremierBG to send out email to all with names of those who havent paid.I wonder if your name will be on list sad owner. |
| 25 Jun, 2008 | Harry () | Patio set | Metro is probably best, also Mr. Bricolage and Pracktiker sell them. Try registering with my bulgaria site I haven't asked a question yet that somone hasn't helped with also it is a proper forum tis is supposed to be an advertising site . |
| 25 Jun, 2008 | Diane () | Oasis | Just got back from Oasis , and was pleased with the apartments in block B, and the area. It is beautiful , lots of wild flowers , sunshine , beach . We saw a family of wild boar trotting across the road , and turtles on the river .2 good restaurants near the river .
We have to move on from the problems left behind by Boris .Nothing is insurmountable .Sean and his wife Lesley and the rest of the staff are working very hard to make a succes of the complex , and we need them on board. The missing furniture has caused them a lot of extra work . When we were there , the bar was open , the pool clean and open .Bikes and car hire available . We took our own sheets and towels , and called into Practica on the way in from the arport to buy pillows and kitchen stuff . We took electric kettle and toaster from uk and fitted local plugs . Consumer goods not cheap, so take as much as you can . Really looking forward to our next visit . |
| 24 Jun, 2008 | rob () | Unhappy Moaning Owner Block B | Hope you can soon sell your apartment, and move to sandy beach ! so we can enjoy the rest from your public moaning ! |
| 24 Jun, 2008 | OWNER B BLOCK () | All that i have put here is true there is no getting away from it ,No i dont want to rent appartment out, its long term investment . what have they told you about lift probs and what they doing about it | |
| 24 Jun, 2008 | owner b block () | Im not a pillock and i listened to bd who feed me the information regarding this complex. BD says BG will put problems right , so who you spoke to to sort your problems OUT , and ill do the same. | |
| 24 Jun, 2008 | CLIFF () | INCORRECT INFO | im amazed that some of the false info coming out here is still happening. firstly i walked to the local shop in 15 minutes on a boiling hot day last week not half hour. second the pools are perfect not green, people were swimming in them last week. thirdly, your rental market should be aimed at ramblers, fishing, photography clubs etc, these people know where kamchia is and are looking for apts to rent as opposed to the kamchia hotel.renting a car is easy from the site office which is open, eating and drinking from the cafe bar is easy, and she will stay open late if there are people there, again we did this last week. i would suggest that a bit of foresight, intelligence and lateral thinking is required. i agree that if you were renting to a couple with kids on a low budget you might struggle, so why target that market?

| 24 Jun, 2008 | satisfied () | pillock | We have just return from the oasis complex and to say this place is not rentable with remarks like yours with your poor spelling abilities just proves the type of pillock you are!
We have problems with the inside kitchen and furniture too but we have spoken to the correct people to solve these problems and work is about to start!! You cannot blame BG for not being responsible for the inside of your Apartment when people like you don't even realise this is not down to them! When did you ask the maintenance team to build the place for you?? Speak to the correct people to get things done! As for rentable... yes there are a few very minor issues but visit other places in and around BG and even Turkey, Greece and such and you will find this a very high standard of complex. We will be out there in a few weeks and will be enjoying staying in our lovely investment. Oh and on the last note pillock, if you were relying on your rental income to pay your way in the first year of a new complex opening in a very rural area, you should have done your homework on the rental potential in Bulgaria first, rather than spoiling its potential on here for everyone to see.. you foolish man! |
| 24 Jun, 2008 | owner b block () | lifts were working last oct, wonder why they are not working now ???????????? could be to save MONEY AGAIN, its crap that they got to move security hut because if that is true they would have started to move hut bynow , | |
| 24 Jun, 2008 | oasis () | 50% have paid maintaints, they say but truth is most have paid and there saying that because they want to keep more of our money . open you eyes happy owners , mines open thats why im sad | |
| 24 Jun, 2008 | owner () | CLIFF, you like place so much why dont you make us offer, lol | |
| 24 Jun, 2008 | cant see beyond my nose () | owner | How can you rent appartment put while there is still problembs with pool making it go green and over half hours walk to nearest shop . Come on who would want to save all year for theor hols and when they arrive have nothing on site no shop green swimming pool, and snake bar that shuts at 5pm, and as for jimmys bar ???? whould you take your kids to jimmies bar i sure wont , only bright side is once we have sorted out probs in appartments finishing off jobs not finished ourselfs, as bg not interested inside apparts only outside i agree ut will be nice place to holiday, but were 2 years down line now so your looking at at least another 2 years . before area is developed , also no transport if you have not hired car , |
| 23 Jun, 2008 | CLIFF () | JIMMYS BAR | CHERYL, JIMMYS BAR IS KINDA TO THE LEFT OF THE CHURCH LOOKS LIKE A BIG HOUSE PAINTED GREEN OVER THE ROAD FROM THE SHOP WHICH HE OWNS TOO
CLIFF |
| 23 Jun, 2008 | CLIFF () | THE BRITS | NOW SEE HERE, THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT HAPPY UNLESS THEY ARE MOANING ASK MARK, GEOFF JAN AND THE OTHERS THAT WERE THERE WITH US LAST WEEK AT THE BBQ AROUND THE POOL. THERE ARE EVEN SOME THAT THOUGHT THEY WOULD BUY INTO AN EMERGING MARKET, SELL TO THE RUSSIANS ON OPENING DAY AND BUY A BEAUTIFUL CARAVAN BY THE SEA IN MARGATE, 20K UP AND NO TAX TO PAY!!
COME ON NOW PEOPLE, THE RESORT IS GREAT, APARTMENTS ARE QUALITY AND YOU NEED FACTOR 30, TRUST ME MY LEGS ARE WRECKED. THE ONLY PROBS YOU HAVE ARE WITH BORIS RIPEMOV AND TRUST ME IF I COULD FIND HIM I WOULD SHOOT HIM FOR YOU.ABOUT 50% ARE PAYING MAINTENANCE BUT THE SITE IS BEING MAINTAINED SO I DONT SEE THAT THEY HAVE AN ARGUMENT THERE.SO I WOULD SAY TO THE REST GO OUT AND ENJOY- BY THE WAY BBQ CHICKEN IS MINT BY THE POOL |
| 23 Jun, 2008 | cheryl () | jimmys bar | anyone got directions to jimmys bar , last time we went our we ate out at the white house and found the champions bar but didn't find jimmy's and i feel a little left out.
Also i'm after a patio set. anyone know where we could get one from , if i get one through the apartments they said it would be about £80 a bit much for a plastic table and 2 chairs i feel |
| 23 Jun, 2008 | Ste Nev () | Cliff | Hi Cliff could youget in touch good to see possitive comments contact steandnev@hotmail.co.uk hope to here from you |
| 23 Jun, 2008 | Paul () | Oasis | Going to complex in the next few days to see what we own and sign legal docs.
I am quite apprehensive as to what I will see.Does anyone know the level of people who have paid the maintenance comapany and will need to take my own pillow ? Ha Ha |
| 23 Jun, 2008 | CLIFF () | GREAT DEVELOPMENT | the oasis development is very well built in a stunning area, with great weather. i have just returned, here are some facts. the pools are brilliant, the walk to the shop is 15 mins, the local restaurants are superb, the people are great and you will find it difficult to spend loads, everything is great value. i have employed a contractor to carry out some alterations to my apartment ie/ furniture and the whole place is looking beautiful.my own personal apartment is a 2 bed of stunning quality and i am returning there in 3 weeks. i dont see any problems with the resort |
| 23 Jun, 2008 | CLIFF () | JUST GOT BACK | just got back from a productive week at oasis, met the solicitors, developers etc and sorted out quite a lot. luckily enough the other gusts there were all positive an collectively we agree that the development is stunning and you are in on a ground floor oportunity where you will make money if you have anything about you. on the other hand you could carry on moaning and witholding your maintenance fees which will achieve nothing |
| 22 Jun, 2008 | Mark E () | Oasis Beach Resort | I have just returned from a week out at the Oasis Beach Resort. I was thrilled with the whole development and the apartments are stunning. I am sure that this is going be a wonderful investment for owners in the years ahead and a great base to explore one of the most impressive and beautiful areas of Bulgaria. I have been informed that up to 150 villas are shortly to be built close by the Oasis. It is also apparant that in Kamchia itself that money is being spent with new restaurants etc. I would urge all owners to visit the Oasis and enjoy first hand there investment and relax in the sun. I intend to go back out to the Oasis in August and I for one can't wait. |
| 22 Jun, 2008 | James P () | Tourism | looks like we have two James's ! just to point out I have tried to promote this site to tour operators to get a feel of Kamchia and our complex. I can assure you the people that are airing their grievances in public are just upsetting everybody, mud sticks and as I mentioned before I have just got back a couple of weeks ago, the complex is looking good, and there is a lot of work going on, the maintenance company are doing jobs in peoples apartment to help out! they are under no obligation to do this, please please leave this informative site to push tourism not problem pages. Buying a property anywhere will encounter problems and the occasional set back. Lets work together and this site will be very beneficial in the future as a marketing tool for our complex, but everything that has ever been posted is here for decades to come. |
| 22 Jun, 2008 | james () | sad o | With public comments like yours are you supprised that you have lost money carry on and you won't rent either the idea is to sell the positives of the area and complex which are many. The issues with BD are private matters potential tourists are not interested in these issues they want to read about why this is the place to go. OASIS is built in a wonderful area af natural beauty/ wildlife, close the the city of Varna. This is going to be a 5 star location in 5 years so don't destroy what we have. Accentuate the positives we won't attract the sunny beach lot but then again I don't want too. |
| 22 Jun, 2008 | rob () | Sunny Beach better location for sad owner | Unhappy sad owner I think Sunny Beach would have been a better buy for you! as I think you are missing the point about this uniquie protected area, at Sunny Beach you will find all the shops and busy bars at hand on your doorstep! Just open your eyes and see the nature ! |
