Well.. What can I say about this place?
Had I known I would not have gone there for a start, it was small and expensive for a Hotel that is out of the way and miles from anywhere.
The lady that run/owns it is an absolute diamond, easy to get on with and very chatty.
The Hotel:
It was small, uncomfortable and we would have been better off in a caravan for the week.
They charged £4.00 a night if you wanted to use the air con, there was a charge for using the plastic sun loungers, the drinks were very much over priced (Baileys 10 Lev, (£5)), breakfast was the same and not really worth getting out of bed for and looked as if it was just re heated from the day before, you only got one towel change a week and that was only the bath towels not the others, one bed change a week and in that heat it did not feel nice sleeping in the bed after sweating due to not purchasing the air con remote, the rooms were very small and could have done with a re furb, the beds, well again have slept on better in a caravan, the shower, well, either dodge about of direct the part that had the crack in it to get water on you, the balcony, we put a chair on it and it was full, there was no fridge so no way of keeping any drink in (I am sure that this was to ensure we bought from bar, but that didn’t work for me), going back to the breakfast; on 2 occasions we actually gave our own food for the next morning, the room key was just left on the counter in reception where anyone could have taken it, the cleaner made sure the room was clean right down to throwing out a rose I bought for my girlfriend and throwing out other items that were still in use, it was a noisy area with dogs barking ALL NIGHT, the road (if you can call it a road) to the hotel was just a dirt track and only able to take one car at a time and if anything came along you had to reverse.
The hotel location is only accessible if you hired a car (thank God we did), the beach was at least 3 miles away, the nearest shop was also about 3 miles away, the nearest restaurant about mile, very expensive and uphill on the way back.
This place is not for the elderly or if you have kids, it is only good if you have a vehicle and are good with directions as you will never find it on your return.
I could add more, but here are the simple answers…
Would I use this place again… NO!! Would I recommend this place, NO WAY!!

Hotel Perla - by Bill on 19 Sep, 2006
Visited at last minute in Sept. 2005. Small and a bit off the beaten track but extremely warm welcome, very friendly and helpful staff. Nice evening meals. Regular buses to Varna close by at very low cost.

In the middle of nowhere, although very peaceful. They offer a bus shuttle into St Constintine and Varna each day, the driver lives in a green shed by the gate! If you are Welsh, and your name is Dave, they will love you!!

miles away from centre. ownwer is quite scary, she didnt want us to leave during the day and quite aggressive when we booked a boat trip with a company in golden sands. she was also responsible for taking us back to the airport but slept in so we had to drive like maniacs to get our flight!!
